Job summary

Civitas Public Affairs Group is seeking an Associate to support day-to-day client work across advocacy campaigns. Hybrid role with three days in office (Boston or DC) and two remote days, focusing on research, memos, decks, and cross-team coordination.

The ideal candidate brings early-career experience in conservative advocacy, campaigns, or communications, and shows curiosity, judgment, and collaboration across political stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in program strategy and execution across a mix of advocacy, policy, and campaigns.
• Experience in Republican or center-right politics, policy, or advocacy is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Support client teams in creating and implementing work plans and research.
• Manage deadlines, meetings, and administrative tasks to keep engagements on track.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and contribute substantive thinking to the work.
• Stay updated on news, legislation, and political developments affecting client objectives.
