Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in New York seeks a policy-focused professional to support the NYSE Institute’s regulatory research, clear writing, and operational execution.

The role reports to the Director of the NYSE Institute and provides direct exposure to SEC rulemaking, congressional engagement, and issuer relationships. The ideal candidate is self-directed, a strong writer, and energized by financial regulation and public markets policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in policy, regulatory, communications, or professional services environment.
• Experience at a regulator, congressional office, trade association, financial services firm, communications office, or law firm preferred.
• Familiarity with SEC rulemaking, federal financial regulation, public company disclosure or governance is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely for a professional audience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze active SEC rulemakings, upcoming deadlines, hearings, and other activity; flag implications and recommend NYSE response.
• Synthesize government activity into clear, timely summaries for internal and external audiences.
• Serve as SME on federal financial regulation and the legislative process.
• Lead drafting and editing of external-facing documents including issuer communications and letters.
• Manage production of recurring written products and issuer feedback synthesis.
• Coordinate issuer outreach programs and help develop outreach strategy.
• Track issuer feedback to identify trends for NYSE Institute’s strategy.
• Prepare briefing materials and talking points for Director and senior leadership for regulatory meetings.
• Coordinate NYSE Institute roundtables and Advisory Board meetings, including briefing documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
