You will translate complex requirements into clear policy recommendations for senior leaders, oversee staff, and coordinate with government stakeholders to improve program outcomes.

The role emphasizes rigorous policy research, quality assurance, and the development of decision papers, briefings, and implementation guidance.

Qualifications

• Five years supervising or overseeing personnel.
• Experience interpreting and implementing federal policies and regulations.
• Knowledge of federal health, personnel, disability, or related program regulations.
• Ability to translate laws and policies into operational recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze federal laws, regulations, and policies impacting health, disability, and benefits programs.
• Assess operational impacts, risks, costs, and recommended actions.
• Develop policy analyses, decision papers, and briefing materials for executives.
• Coordinate policy products with government leads, experts, and stakeholders.
• Oversee staff to ensure timely, accurate policy and program support.
• Support quality-assurance plans, performance measures, and reporting.
