Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading substantive policy work, portfolio, or initiative with strategy, priorities, and deliverables.
• Strong policy analysis, writing, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a significant body of federal and state workforce development policy work with priorities, strategies, recommendations, and deliverables.
• Shape and advance advocacy strategies to increase access to quality workforce development, education, and training.
• Translate complex policy issues into clear, accessible information for diverse audiences.
• Develop policy recommendations and provide analysis to policymakers, boards, and partners.
• Monitor policy developments and identify opportunities to inform discussions.
