Job summary

Qualifications

• Min 8 years in legislative or policy analysis, preferably in a higher education setting; and / or equivalent experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Serves as lead policy analyst and coordinator for the UC Controller's office policy portfolio.
• Manages full lifecycle of department-owned policies, ensuring compliance with policy governance requirements.
• Provides expert consultation and project management for policy creation, revision, review, implementation, communication, and retirement activities.
• Researches, analyzes, and develops policy recommendations in response to regulatory, operational, financial, and organizational changes.
• Collaborates with policy sponsors, subject matter experts, executive leadership, campus and health system stakeholders to keep policies current and aligned.
