Job summary

UC Office of the President in Oakland seeks a Project Policy Analyst 4 RP to lead the policy portfolio for the Controller's Office, ensuring policy development, revision, and governance across the university system. You will manage the full policy lifecycle, engage stakeholders, and provide expert consultation on policy interpretation.

The role emphasizes implementation, communication, training, and ongoing initiatives to strengthen policy governance and organizational effectiveness within UCOP.

Qualifications

• Min 8 years in legislative or policy analysis, preferably in a higher education setting; and / or equivalent experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy portfolio management for the UC Controller's office, including Presidential Policies.
• Conduct policy analyses, drafts and edits complex policies, and develop recommendations for leadership.
• Coordinate with sponsors, leadership, experts, and UC locations to guide policy development and governance.
