Third Way in Washington, DC, is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor, Family Policy to shape policy ideas on child care, paid leave, caregiving, and federal tax policy within the Economic Program. This role collaborates with partners and represents Third Way to government leaders and policy advocates.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in economic policy, an undergraduate degree, strong writing and research skills, and a track record of bipartisan or center-left policy work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in economic policy or related field.
• Undergraduate degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong policy writing and research abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop policy ideas and publish memos and reports.
• Lead research on federal family policy and economic trends.
• Engage with Congress to educate policymakers.
• Represent Third Way in briefings, coalitions, and media.
• Collaborate with external partners to advance family economic security.
