Job summary

Lumen Technologies in Washington, DC seeks an Expert Program Business Manager to support PMO functions, manage deliverables, and align IT lifecycle with SDLC standards. The role interfaces with senior management and may supervise others in a full-time capacity at 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include maintaining PMO artifacts, dashboards, and process intelligence to drive visibility and decision‑making across projects and programs, with a focus on both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Clearance Level TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s or higher with 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience tracking, monitoring and updating status of program deliverables.
• Experience applying processes to ensure data currency, validity, and relevance.
• Experience maintaining library of PMO documents and templates.
• Experience translating business processes into workflows and dashboards.
• Experience updating IT lifecycle documentation for Waterfall and Agile SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Track, monitor, and provide status updates on program and project deliverables to ensure timelines and commitments are met.
• Apply established processes to ensure data accuracy, currency, validity, and relevance across PMO artifacts and reporting.
• Maintain a centralized library of PMO documents and develop standardized templates for both technical and management use.
• Support project, program, and portfolio-level activities including process analysis, mapping, optimization, reporting, market research, and internal communications.
• Translate business processes into actionable workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision‑making.
• Update and maintain organizational IT lifecycle documentation supporting Agile methodologies.
• Define, develop, and maintain engineering (SDLC) artifacts, architecture standards, and governance processes. Provide oversight for Enterprise SDLC reviews, including change management activities.
