Job summary

Golub Capital in New York, NY is seeking an experienced PMO/Project Manager to support planning, execution and governance across IPG and the firm. You will work with project managers, stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure initiatives stay on track, with strong governance and timely reporting.

The role requires 8+ years in PMO or related roles, PMP/CAPM preferred, and a culture that blends office presence with a Gold Standard hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience with at least 5 years in PMO or project management roles.
• PMP or CAPM preferred; familiarity with waterfall, agile or hybrid.
• Knowledge of private markets and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools with critical thinking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, SharePoint).
• Enthusiastic about working in office with a Gold Standard hybrid work culture.

Responsibilities

• Owning assigned projects from initiation through completion, updating teams and senior management.
• Planning and executing projects to improve processes, enable expansion, launch technology initiatives.
• Drafting project charters and stakeholder registries; defining goals and deliverables.
• Partnering with stakeholders to build cross-functional project teams.
• Developing project plans, timelines and identifying resources.
• Tracking risks and issues and ensuring resolution.
• Leading cross-functional meetings and presenting status to senior leadership.
