Job summary

Turo is seeking a strategic PMO leader to shape the project management function within Turo Operations in Phoenix, AZ. You will define the PMO strategy, govern projects, and partner with executive leadership to drive high-impact initiatives that align with business goals.

You will mentor a team of project managers, ensure data-driven reporting via Asana, and manage cross-functional dependencies with stakeholders across Operations, Product, Marketing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Project or Program Management, including 3+ years of experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine the PMO strategy and best practices across Turo Operations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers; foster excellence and accountability.
• Own the strategic roadmap and prioritization of high-impact projects with executive leadership.
• Establish standardized project governance, reporting, and communication frameworks across initiatives.
• Ensure rigorous application of project methodologies (DMAIC) to vet, plan, and execute projects with measurable impact.
• Develop relationships with VP/Director-level stakeholders across Operations, Product, Marketing, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and elevate risks to senior leaders.
• Oversee project management tools (Asana) to ensure data integrity and executive-level visibility.
• Drive accountability to achieve milestones and business objectives.
