Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America Inc in Greene, NY seeks a Senior Manager PMO - NPD to lead multiple projects in a technical product development environment. You’ll coordinate initiatives across engineering, product development, operations and suppliers to deliver value.

The role requires 10+ years of PMO experience, strong leadership, budget control and risk management. This on-site position offers relocation support and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project or program management, preferably within a product development, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, technology, or similarly technical environment.
• Strong project management skills incl. planning, organization, leadership, budgeting, and process improvement.
• Foundational technical knowledge of Automotive, Heavy Equipment, hydraulic/mechanical systems, and ESS battery systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across departments to build consensus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of small/moderately complex projects.
• Lead and direct the work of others.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive projects forward.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and manage a detailed project plan and governance for programs.
• Manage scope, schedule, and costs with appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
• Document processes with diagrams and maps and support negotiations with suppliers.
