Job summary

ASU EdPlus is seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to lead a team of Project Managers within the EdPlus PMO. You will guide complex cross-functional initiatives, align work with strategic priorities, and mentor staff to deliver high-impact results in a dynamic, in-person hybrid setting at the Scottsdale campus.

You will collaborate with leadership to standardize PM practices, coach project managers across methodologies, and ensure effective governance and reporting to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience leading and developing project management professionals.
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of project management principles and multiple delivery methodologies.
• Experience coaching others in selecting and applying appropriate project management approaches.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including relationship building.
• Experience managing and supervising staff.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management platforms.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or related certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of approximately six Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Project Management. Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
• PMO Leadership. Advance the PMO's project management framework by promoting governance, tools, and best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Tools. Build partnerships across EdPlus and ASU to support delivery; use Jira for progress tracking and reporting.
