Job summary

Piper Companies in Salisbury, NC seeks a Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) to drive governance, business analysis, and project execution standards across technology initiatives. This onsite role supports PMO and leadership and requires 3 days per week in Salisbury.

You will develop charters, RAID logs, requirements, and dashboards; manage stakeholders; coordinate testing; and promote Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in project management, PMO, or related roles.
• Experience supporting governance, PMO operations, or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle management and SDLC.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/SharePoint/Power BI/Clarity.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO governance processes, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain project charters, status reports, RAID logs.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate project intake, governance reviews, and lifecycle activities.
• Map processes, analyze workflows, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and KPIs.
• Prepare executive dashboards and status updates for leadership.
• Collaborate with PMs, stakeholders, and technical teams to align objectives.
• Coordinate testing, validate requirements, and review solutions.
• Promote established methodologies and ways of working.
• Support initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban.
