Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) in Salisbury, NC for a hybrid role. The analyst will drive PMO governance, document requirements, and support project lifecycle activities across multiple technology initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating governance reviews, maintaining charters and RAID logs, and producing leadership dashboards. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, business analysis, or related roles.
• Experience supporting project governance, PMO operations, or portfolio management functions.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and SDLC principles.
• Experience creating project charters, requirements documentation, process maps, and status reporting artifacts.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, Clarity, or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO governance processes, standards, and best practices across technology and business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including charters, status reports, RAID logs, requirements, and workflows.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate project intake, governance reviews, and lifecycle activities.
• Perform process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments for improvements.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and KPIs.
• Support leadership reporting through dashboards, presentations, and status updates.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams on objectives.
• Assist with testing coordination, requirements validation, and solution reviews.
• Advocate for PM methodologies and governance standards.
• Support initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban.
