Job summary

The City of San José is seeking a senior manager to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) as Division Manager within the Information Technology Department. The PMO oversees approximately 8 contributors, a portfolio of 75+ initiatives, and 40+ primary systems, coordinating across 20 city departments to deliver value and foster collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with six years of related experience, including three years in supervision.
• Valid CA Driver’s License; additional licensing may be required.
• Proven leadership and communication skills to manage large programs.

• Develop strategic plans, budgets, roadmaps, and resource plans.
• Hire, coach, and develop staff; manage performance.
