Job summary

Planning Recruitment Limited is seeking an award-winning, employee-owned architecture and interiors studio in San Francisco for a Senior Project Manager to lead workplace and commercial projects.

You will manage multiple projects from programming through construction, own project fees and budgets, and mentor the next generation of leaders while collaborating with Principals, designers and architects. California codes and Revit/AEC tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years managing interior design or architecture projects.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in interior design or architecture.
• Demonstrable corporate workplace experience and understanding of commercial real estate objectives.
• Experience across programming, space planning through FF&E, CDs and construction.
• Ownership of project fees, budgets and profitability.
• Working knowledge of California building, fire and accessibility codes for interiors.
• MS Project, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from initiation through construction.
• Own the commercial side of each project from scope narratives to subconsultant agreements.
• Prepare bid documents and lead bid leveling.
• Run weekly in-person team meetings and maintain schedule and budget.
• Serve as day-to-day lead for clients, contractors, consultants and regulators.
• Oversee QA/QC on construction documents and cost estimates.
• Support business development through proposals and client interviews.
