Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a Program Manager to oversee administration and coordination of staff and grant activities centered on healthy lifestyle and disease prevention across Alaska Native communities.

Under general direction, the Senior Program Manager leads complex programs, guides staff, manages budgets and reports, and partners with division leadership to advance ANTHC's mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public health education principles and practice.
• Experience with worksite wellness programs and related research.
• Understanding of Alaska Native cultures and the Tribal Health System.
• Familiarity with tribally operated or Native owned businesses and partnerships.
• Strong coordination, tracking and evaluation skills.
• Excellent written communication and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement programs; monitor and evaluate progress.
• Prepare and manage budgets; coordinate grants and contracts.
• Identify grant opportunities; draft and edit applications and budgets.
• Prepare progress and financial reports; ensure compliance.
• Draft program documentation and data collection tools.
• Set program objectives and metrics aligned with division goals.
• Consult with leadership on goals, priorities and resource allocation.
• Oversee staff directions and provide coaching and development.
• Manage project budgets and contracts; coordinate with finance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
