Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater construction projects across Chattanooga and the surrounding region. You will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with owners, engineers, field leadership, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver municipal infrastructure on time and within budget.

Qualifications

10+ years of construction experience, preferably within water and wastewater infrastructure.
Proven project management experience on treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, or similar municipal projects.
Strong knowledge of project schedules, budgets, contracts, cost controls, and field operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
A successful track record of completing projects safely, on schedule, and profitably.

Responsibilities

Oversee water and wastewater treatment plant projects from preconstruction through completion.
Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, job costs, and overall financial performance.
Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, pay applications, and project documentation.
Coordinate with municipalities, owners, engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Coordinate material procurement, equipment needs, deliveries, and project logistics; lead progress meetings and risk management.
