Job summary

Cumming Group in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for a $120M natural gas pipeline project on a greenfield site. You will lead planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout, owning schedule, budget, safety, and quality.

The role requires strong civil construction and utility infrastructure expertise, with a focus on delivering client value and project outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10+ years of project management experience in utility, pipeline, or heavy civil construction.
Experience managing projects with budgets over $50M.
Experience with EPC, design-build, or owner-representative delivery.
Proficiency in project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
Experience in regulated utility or natural gas environments.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle delivery of a $120M natural gas pipeline project on greenfield site.
Provide project leadership for planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain master schedules; implement recovery plans.
Coordinate between clients, engineering teams, contractors, and regulators.
Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across activities.
Mentor team and drive safety culture and continuous improvement.
