Job summary

SIDRAM TECHNOLOGIES in Rosemead, California is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Test Manager to lead a large-scale utility technology modernization program. The role emphasizes planning, coordination, and governance of testing cycles across teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

You will define test strategy, coordinate functional, system/integration, regression, and UAT activities, manage defects through closure, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing complex IT/OT technology projects.
• 3+ years in a Project Manager, Test Manager, or combined PM/Test role.
• Experience managing multiple software testing cycles (functional, system/integration, regression, UAT).
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders across technical, business, and vendor groups.
• Hands-on defect lifecycle management (triage, prioritization, resolution, retesting, closure).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA/testing methodologies, and testing best practices.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Excellent documentation skills for test plans, results, schedules, RAID logs, and reports.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership and guiding junior team members.
• Onsite presence required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

• Manage project activities with a focus on testing cycles, milestones, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain test strategy, schedule, activities, and metrics.
• Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders across technical, business, vendor groups.
• Coordinate functional, system/integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Oversee defect lifecycle from triage to closure and verify resolutions.
• Ensure readiness and prerequisites for each testing phase and entry/exit criteria.
• Track testing progress, risks, defects, and actions; maintain RAID logs.
• Provide clear testing status and progress updates to leadership.
• Mentor junior Project Support Analysts on the project.
