Job summary

United Utility Services in Miami, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary electrical distribution projects from inception to closeout.

You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to ensure on-time delivery within budget, with a strong focus on safety and client satisfaction. This full-time role requires 5 years PM experience and a BS in PM/Construction/Business; domestic travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience with Project Management.
• 5 years of experience in overhead and underground electrical power distribution.
• BS in Project Management, Construction Management and/or Business or equivalent experience.
• Utility and contractor experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, team oriented with a passion to help and adhere to safety standards.
• Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of approved projects to within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with Operations Leads and Engineering to track client deliverables.
• Develop project plan, schedule, communications, and change control.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide reports for management and escalate risks.
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Close out projects timely to support business goals.
• Represent the company in work and community.
