The role demands 10+ years in construction/engineering, a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and a proven track record delivering structural steel projects through fabrication and erection.

Qualifications

10+ years of construction or engineering experience.
Strong structural steel experience is essential.
Proven experience managing structural steel projects through fabrication and erection.
Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications and contract documents.
Commercial awareness across budgets, change orders and project costs.
Ownership mentality with ability to make decisions across shop, field and GC teams.
Judgement to manage complex projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of structural steel projects from award through fabrication, erection and final completion.
Lead schedule, budget, and commercial management across the project lifecycle.
Review drawings, specs and contracts; manage RFIs and submittals.
Coordinate fabrication, delivery and erection schedules; oversee change orders and project costs.
Visit local jobsites roughly once a week.
