Job summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of construction projects, ensuring successful completion and adherence to budget, schedule and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management experience (8-10 years, including supervisory skills).
• Leadership ability and strong sense of urgency.
• Organizational and communication skills; problem-solving ability.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting; experience with PM control systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple or large, complex projects.
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Set up procedures to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery.
• Keep project on schedule and maintain reporting to management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owner, Architect and Subcontractors.
• Supervise project team and organize management meetings.
