Job summary

The GNU Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager — Signage & EGD to lead environmental branding and architectural signage projects. You will direct design, manage schedules and budgets, and secure client satisfaction across engagements.

This is a senior, client-facing role with growth toward principal-level leadership. Responsibilities include planning, team leadership, thought leadership, technical quality, financial oversight, client relationships, and pursuing new business opportunities to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in wayfinding, environmental branding, and architectural signage.
• Ability to plan, document and execute project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and quality control.
• Knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Disciplines.
• Proactive, flexible, team player with client and internal trust.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering plans; ADA/CBC signage familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: establish responsibilities, scope, schedules, budgets and closeout.
• Project Team Communication and Management: mentor and lead the team, foster collaboration.
• Thought Leadership: provide ongoing thought leadership and training.
• Technical Management: ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Financial Management: manage billing, costs and variances to stay on plan.
• Client Relationship: meet with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and exposure.
• New Business: identify qualifications, proposals, and opportunities for growth.
