Job summary

Bald Cypress Builders, a locally owned residential design‑build remodeling company in Lexington, SC, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead projects and mentor the construction team. You will manage client relationships, schedules, budgets, and quality, while helping scale systems for growth.

The role offers a base salary of $85,000–$95,000, bonus potential, and a route to Director of Construction as the company expands, with full-time W‑2 employment and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience with schedules, deadlines, budgets, and multiple variables.
• Residential remodeling or related construction experience preferred.
• Experience supervising, leading, or developing employees.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, trades, jobsite coordination, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential remodeling and addition projects from active construction through completion.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality standards, subcontractors, materials, and day-to-day execution.
• Personally manage one or more projects while leading the broader construction department.
• Supervise, mentor, and support current construction team members.
• Coordinate with trade partners, vendors, designers, and internal team members.
• Maintain proactive, professional communication with homeowners throughout construction.
• Anticipate challenges, solve problems quickly, and keep projects moving toward goals.
• Help improve construction systems, processes, and documentation.
• Ensure jobsites and completed work meet quality and client experience standards.
• Use Buildertrend and Google Workspace to maintain project information and schedules.
