Job summary

Real-Time Innovations (RTI) seeks a Sr. Product Manager to shape the future of real-time software for Aerospace & Defense.

You will translate mission requirements into product needs, drive the Connext roadmap, and ensure our platform meets defense program goals across land, sea, air, and space. You’ll own the A&D product direction, partner with Sales and Engineering, and craft go-to-market strategies for DoD programs, leveraging customer insights and market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent military/industry experience).
• Strong understanding of UAS and/or Maritime systems, including autonomy, edge computing, mission control, and data distribution.
• Ability to connect technical features to mission outcomes and business value.
• Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Professional Services to align on strategy and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel about 25% to customer sites and corporate/market events.
• US Citizenship required (Due to laws, govt regulations, we are required to fill this position only with a U.S. Citizen).

Responsibilities

• Own the A&D product direction and roadmap.
• Build a deep view of UAS, autonomy, maritime requirements and how they shape needs for distributed systems, security, real-time data, and interoperability.
• Translate customer/mission requirements into clear product requirements, use cases, and roadmap proposals.
• Represent the voice of the defense customer through product discovery and validation of roadmap direction.
• Identify capability gaps and growth opportunities across key defense applications and prioritize for RTI adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales, BD, Marketing to translate capabilities into value propositions and differentiators.
• Develop product positioning to help Sales and BD win new business in top DoD priorities.
• Contribute to strategic go-to-market plans and resource allocation decisions, including ROI considerations.
• Contribute to sales materials (battlecards, demos) and train field teams on messaging.
• Build and maintain deep insight into the competitive landscape and government modernization trends.
• Use insights to drive RTI’s long-term A&D product strategy.
