Job summary

RTI invites a Senior Product Manager to drive the future of real-time software in Aerospace & Defense. The role focuses on Connext for defense programs, translating mission requirements into actionable product needs and roadmaps.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to secure adoption across top DoD priorities. You will shape RTI’s platform for A&D use cases, own the product direction, and ensure solutions meet security, interoperability, and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in Aerospace & Defense domains and supporting DoD programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~25% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the A&D product direction and translate requirements into clear roadmaps.
• Translate customer/mission requirements into product requirements, use cases, and roadmaps.
• Represent the voice of the defense customer and validate roadmap with key customers.
• Shape RTI’s platform for A&D use cases and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, BD, and Marketing to craft value propositions and pricing.
• Partner with Sales, BD, Marketing to translate capabilities into differentiators and sales tools.
• Develop strategic go-to-market plans for key programs and partners.
