Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Senior Product Manager - Technical to own QoS/Performance. You will define features enabling high performance across satellite, SDN, and ground components, influencing across engineering, product, and leadership.

This role requires deep networking knowledge and strong product instincts. You will craft PRFAQs, set performance metrics, and collaborate with Sales, Capacity, and Finance to reflect customer expectations in the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Own/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Represent and advocate for customers during executive prioritization and planning.
• Define and manage SLAs/SLOs for networking or cloud services.
• Write technical requirements documents, PRFAQs, or product specs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Performance and QoS product strategy for Leo, incl. traffic shaping and congestion management.
• Define and drive performance metrics framework with SLAs, SLOs, KPIs for throughput, latency, jitter, and loss.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement performance capabilities across satellite, ground gateway, and SDN layers.
• Write PRFAQs and technical narratives to align resources and leadership on roadmaps.
• Gather customer requirements and translate into product features with cross-functional teams.
• Define acceptance criteria and performance gates for new features before releases.
• Coordinate with Beam Planning, SDN, and Satellite Operations to optimize resource allocation and reduce latency.
