Job summary

The City of Norfolk is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Department of Housing and Community Development to lead neighborhood transformation initiatives including St. Paul’s Area Transformation.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent required.
• Five years of project management and strategic planning experience, with at least two years in infrastructure or commercial construction or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Housing Developers and housing development teams to meet project goals.
• Manage housing entitlement process with City Planning and partners.
• Oversee tax credit applications and housing funding requests.
• Coordinate city infrastructure design and construction with multiple departments and consultants.
• Develop and monitor multiple progress schedules and a master project schedule.
• Communicate project priorities and ensure resident-driven needs are integrated.
