Chart, Inc. in Duluth, GA is seeking an experienced Manager, Project Manager to direct the Project Management team and drive on-time delivery of engineered-to-order projects. You will lead, motivate, and align cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and optimize cash flow and margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with project management methodologies, tools, and execution practices.
• Experience managing project teams in a customized, engineered-to-order environment.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
• Experience managing budgets and financial controls in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, and oversee the Project Management team to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining cash flow and margins.
• Develop the team’s project management capabilities and drive continuous improvement in execution and scheduling processes.
• Manage Chart–client relationships to support successful delivery of engineered-to-order projects.
• Provide leadership, motivation and strategic direction for efficient PM team operation.
• Provide clear communication regarding goals, responsibilities, performance expectations and feedback.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to maintain or increase project margins and cash performance.
• Drive financial performance in line with commitments and minimize negative variances.
• Own and lead project scope, risk, and resource management; mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commercial and cross-functional teams to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
