Job summary

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead K–12 and higher education construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will guide owners, school districts, universities, architects, consultants, and subcontractors, directing budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This role emphasizes team leadership, risk management, and delivering projects that align with CPPI’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with a strong preference for K–12 and/or higher education projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management for K–12 public school and higher education construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, procurement, and execution to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for school districts, colleges, universities, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, pay applications, change orders, and cost controls.
  • Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead project meetings, executive updates, and client presentations while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve complex issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Support business development efforts by fostering relationships within the education construction market.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion, turnover documentation, warranty management, and owner training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
