Job summary

Sarasota-based general contractor seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead roadway, utility and transportation infrastructure across the Sarasota/Bradenton corridor, including Lakewood Ranch. The role offers full lifecycle delivery from planning to closeout and requires FDOT standards, CMAR/DB delivery, and strong MOT and drainage expertise.

The position is direct hire with compensation up to $150,000 based on experience, reflecting leadership in a fast-growing market.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years managing large infrastructure, roadway, utility or transportation projects.
• Working command of FDOT standards, specifications and permitting.
• Strong grounding in MOT, drainage, earthwork, paving and bridge coordination.
• Experience with GMP, design build or CMAR delivery methods.
• MS Project or Primavera P6, plus Bluebeam.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle delivery from planning and preconstruction through construction and closeout
• Project schedules, budgets, forecasts and execution plans
• Utility coordination and relocation across water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electric and telecom
• Consultants, contractors, subcontractors and inspection teams
• Change orders, pay applications, claims and contract administration
• The relationships: FDOT, municipalities, counties and utility owners
