Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium-size industrial projects from New Berlin, WI, with a hybrid work model. The role requires 8+ years of project management experience, knowledge of low/medium voltage drives, transformers, and related equipment, and a PMP certification preference.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is expected, with a 20% travel willingness and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management of industrial projects.
• Knowledge of low and/or medium voltage variable speed drives, transformers, motors, switchgear, e-house.
• Project management certification, PMP preferred.
• Proficiency in use of ERP system, experience in SAP preferred.
• University degree in Engineering, Electrical engineering preferred.
• Ease of communicating in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel 20%.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Acts as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
• Monitor projects and execute regular reporting (project reviews)
