Job summary

ABB in New Berlin, WI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial initiatives in the Motion - High Power Division. The role is hybrid, reporting to the HUB Execution Manager, and focuses on delivering on time, budget, and scope.

You will assemble and guide project teams, manage risks, monitor progress and finances, ensure contract compliance, and maintain strong stakeholder relations across internal and external partners. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management of industrial projects.
• Knowledge of low and/or medium voltage variable speed drives, transformers, motors, switchgear, e-house.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proficiency in use of ERP system, SAP preferred.
• University degree in Engineering, Electrical engineering preferred.
• Ease of communicating in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel 20%.

Responsibilities

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risk, and pursuing opportunities.
• Driving formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgement.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicates with all stakeholders.
• Monitor projects and execute regular reporting (project reviews).
