Job summary

Kion Group AG, in a hybrid role near Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Senior Product Manager for Case & Tote Storage AMCS. You will translate strategy into executable roadmaps, lead cross-functional development, drive lifecycle management, and ensure commercial success across regional and global initiatives.

The role requires 8–10 years in product management with strong cross-functional leadership, a solid technical foundation, and travel up to 25%. Hybrid work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of product management or closely related product‑leadership experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in material handling, intralogistics, warehouse automation, or supply‑chain technology.
• Strong commercial and strategic‑business acumen, including experience with business cases, budgets, revenue, margin, pricing, and portfolio trade‑offs.
• Experience delivering products through a formal development or tollgate process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own execution-focused product roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and delivery plans for assigned product lines.
• Drive the tollgate process from TG00 through TG90, including review readiness, risk closure, decision documentation, cycle-time management, and on-time delivery.
• Manage products through new product introduction, beta deployment, commercialization, sustaining, modernization, and sunset activities.
• Maintain product requirements, lifecycle status, and commercialization-readiness evidence.
• Prioritize development and sustaining activities based on customer impact and strategic alignment.
• Lead cross-functional teams and establish cadence for status, risks, dependencies, escalations, and decisions.
