Job summary

KION North America is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering projects and ensure customer satisfaction in our material handling solutions portfolio.

You will coordinate with engineering, product management and cross‑functional teams, lead weekly reviews with internal teams and external vendors, and drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.

A bachelor's degree is required; excellent communication in English is essential, and CAPM, PMP or Prince2 certification is preferred.

  • CAPM®, PMP®, or Prince 2® certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering projects, including integrated plans, costs, technical details, resource management, budgets, and tooling investments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to align customer requirements with internal technical requirements.
  • Prepare and conduct weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to plan and track deliverables.
  • Balance both in-depth details and high-level executive summary regarding project specific requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal and or safety standards.
  • Embrace and help drive the Lean culture.

  • ERP System knowledge (SAP, preferred)
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycles.
  • Experience interfacing with cross-functional support teams.
  • Experience with utilizing Lean methodologies and root cause analysis.
