Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks a Senior Project Manager for nationwide high-voltage transmission and distribution projects. The role oversees planning, budgeting, staffing, subcontractor management, safety, and quality from Piketon, OH with travel as required.

You will lead pre-construction efforts, manage SOVs and billing, and coordinate with legal and clients to protect interests while delivering on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7–10 years of project management experience in high-voltage electric transmission and distribution construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business required; advanced degree or PMP preferred.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractor management, safety, quality and implementation.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate revisions to contracts; work with legal to protect company interests.
• Generate and review cost reports; provide project cost forecasting and reporting.
• Develop and manage project submittals and information requests; ensure on-time invoicing and payments.
• Lead meetings with supervisory staff, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve construction issues.
• Mentor and develop project managers and assistants; manage staffing for upcoming projects.
• Present project updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
