Job summary

Imperium Global seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects across the Phoenix metro area. You’ll own projects from preconstruction through closeout and guide field and office teams to deliver work safely, on schedule and on budget.

Typical projects include highway and interchange work, earthwork, underground utilities, and drainage. You’ll mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents while coordinating with owners, agencies and subcontractors to ensure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including 5+ years in a PM or Senior PM role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar, or equivalent experience.
• PE, PMP or OSHA 30 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple heavy civil projects through preconstruction, execution and closeout
• Own project budgets, cost forecasting, schedules and monthly financial reporting
• Act as the main point of contact for owners, agencies (e.g. ADOT, MCDOT, City of Phoenix), engineers and subcontractors
• Lead and mentor their Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents
• Negotiate and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and claims
• Champion a strong safety culture and make sure work meets quality and environmental requirements
• Support estimating and pursuits, including constructability reviews and bid strategy
