Job summary

DCS Contracting, Inc. in Chandler, AZ seeks a Senior Project Manager with a strong heavy civil background to lead multiple projects in the Greater Phoenix Valley.

You will mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and drive safety and quality on high-profile infrastructure programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of construction-related project management experience with a general contractor.
• Experience managing multiple projects and leading project teams in heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple project teams from startup through closeout.
• Develop and maintain client relationships for long-term success.
• Serve as liaison between client representatives and project teams on status, challenges, and progress.
• Understand contracts and specifications; ensure teams do the same.
• Create and oversee project schedules coordinating with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards on all projects.
• Monitor plans, specs, quality standards, and efficiency for successful execution.
• Provide oversight to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field resources.
• Train and mentor staff through coaching and development.
• Review and support deliverables: budgets, job cost, labor productivity, quantity tracking, variance analysis, COR logs, monthly billing.
