Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for NCDOT heavy civil work in Cary, NC. You will manage roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, leading field teams and coordinating with owners, inspectors and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil projects, proven NCDOT experience, and the ability to own budgets, schedules and forecasts while maintaining safety and quality on every site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work.
• Documented NCDOT project experience as PM of record is required.
• Ability to run projects end-to-end with a self-perform team.
• Relocation to Raleigh area or Triangle relocation readiness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margins.
• Submit cost projections, manage changes and pay estimates.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to meet production, quality and safety.
• Serve as main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
