Job summary
The D. E. Shaw Group in New York seeks a product manager for its Generative AI Tech Services team. You will own user-facing AI agent products and guide the evolution of end-user experiences.
You will work with both technical and non-technical users to identify new workflows and opportunities, and collaborate with Learning & Development and AI teams to boost adoption and internal AI skills.
Qualifications
- Five to ten years of product-management experience, ideally AI/ML or enterprise software.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; CS or related technical discipline preferred.
- Technologist mindset with depth to understand the ecosystem and read code.
- Data-driven with prioritization and cost/benefit analysis skills.
- Excellent user interviewing skills and ability to partner with users.
Responsibilities
- Own the product direction and delivery for the firm's AI agent and chat experiences.
- Understand both technical and non-technical users and identify workflow improvements.
- Partner with Learning & Development and AI business teams to drive adoption and skills development.
- Systematically prioritize work across Generative AI Tech Services and with infra teams.
- Work with senior engineering counterparts to ensure stable and performant products.
