Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in California with a focus on business development and project leadership.

The role involves overseeing projects from qualification through closeout, coordinating with the field team, and ensuring safety, budgets, and timelines are met. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electrical construction, strong leadership, and the ability to grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; At least five (5) years of Project Manager level experience in electrical construction or related activities in a leadership role and managing projects.
• Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and project teams from qualification through estimate, pre-construction, mobilization, execution, and closeout.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent and field team to meet project budgets and timeframes.
• Define team roles, responsibilities, and communication expectations to ensure efficient work progression.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred
