Job summary

The Senior Project Manager for Distributed Generation Projects at Avangrid in Augusta, ME is responsible for managing the design and execution of Level 4 Distributed Generation interconnections, including distribution system upgrades, substations and potential transmission work. You will collaborate with Interconnections and Planning teams to align schedules and costs.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering, marine science or architecture, 7 years of relevant experience, fluency in English,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Marine science or architecture with 7 years relevant experience required.
• Microsoft Suite.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Manage team performance considering customer funded nature of the work, political environment, company operating efficiency, regulatory concerns, and operational coordination.
• Manage the team to optimize the work of internal staff and external contractors and other internal business areas.
• Holds contractors accountable for performance.
• Holds project team members accountable for program results.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management when required.
• Responsible for the overall project results.
