The Senior Project Manager for Distributed Generation Projects is responsible for managing the design and execution of Level 4 Distributed Generation interconnections, this includes distribution system, substation and transmission upgrades as required. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for creating a collaborative environment with the Interconnections teams and the Planning teams. The Senior Project Manager will also work in partnership with the Schedule & Cost Control Manager to ensure that the project team manages and reports out schedules and costs to better manage program and project coordination.
Responsibility includes managing team performance considering customer funded nature of the work the political environment, company operating efficiency, regulatory concerns, and operational coordination.
Manages the team to optimize the work of internal staff and external contractors and other internal business areas.
Holds contractors accountable for performance.
Holds project team members accountable for program results.
Provides strategic advice to senior management when required.
Responsible for the overall project results.
