Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team. You will shape how consumers discover and use credit, owning strategy across shopping, repayment, and marketing to create intuitive, trustworthy products that drive activation and repeat engagement.

Collaborating with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, and Legal, you will translate capabilities into clear experiences, guide measurable outcomes, and lead through ambiguity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, with discovery through launch and scaling adoption in fintech/e-commerce/marketplaces.
• Leadership across teams, setting direction and aligning multiple teams around measurable outcomes.
• Strong judgment translating complex systems into intuitive experiences with clear communication.
• Strategic and technical depth, working with engineers on cross-experience capabilities.
• Analytical and experimental rigor using research, data and experiments to prioritize opportunities.
• Ownership in ambiguity with structured decision-making and risk communication.
• Relevant domain curiosity in credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered experiences.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction with a cohesive vision across consumer credit experiences.
• Build experiences allowing consumers to explore financing options before checkout.
• Develop personalized journeys using research and experimentation.
• Own merchant prequalification and purchasing power experiences with cross-team collaboration.
• Lead decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal.
• Define success metrics and use funnel analysis and feedback to improve activation and conversion.
