Job summary

CFD is a leading construction services firm in the New York metropolitan area seeking a Construction Project Manager/Senior Project Manager with public sector experience on large-scale projects. You will oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and overall project execution to ensure quality, safety, and contract compliance.

The role requires coordinating multiple stakeholders, mitigating risks, and driving successful outcomes in fast-paced construction environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in institutional, healthcare, educational, infrastructure, and/or public-sector construction, with the public sector being a preference.
• Experience managing construction projects valued at $50 million or greater preferred.
• Experience in working with a team on large-scale projects in the public space.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Manage project team.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout requirements.
