Job summary

Intertek-PSI, a leading provider of assurance, testing and inspection services, seeks a Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing in Austin, Texas. The role leads large CMT projects, directs field teams, and ensures safety, quality, schedule and budget adherence.

You will coordinate field operations, manage client relationships, and support business development efforts. The ideal candidate has extensive CMT experience, strong leadership in large projects, and is capable of coordinating

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing large Construction Materials Testing projects.
• Strong field experience with concrete, reinforcing steel, soils, and drilled pier projects.
• Proven experience managing and scheduling 10+ field technicians.
• Strong knowledge of CMT procedures, construction practices, project specifications, and field operations.
• Experience with project scheduling, staffing, budgeting, invoicing and financial management.
• Leadership and personnel-management skills.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex CMT projects from start-up through completion.
• Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and utilization of 10+ field technicians.
• Provide leadership and support to technicians, project managers, and staff.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, and resource requirements.
• Monitor budgets, costs, invoicing, and profitability.
• Ensure testing and inspection activities meet ASTM, ACI, and project specs.
