Job summary

Cyderes is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the case management platform core of our MDR service. You will lead the migration from a general-purpose backend to a purpose-built case system, managing data models, lifecycle events, and integrations with security tools and ITSM platforms.

You will mentor other PMs, collaborate with Engineering, SOC leadership, Threat Research, and UX, and shape AI-assisted workflows while ensuring explainability and strong governance across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with experience owning complex platforms or services.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the end-to-end security case lifecycle, from signal intake to learning.
• Lead the migration to a purpose-built case platform with careful sequencing and cutover to avoid outages.
• Drive build/buy/extend decisions for the case platform with Engineering and Architecture.
• Define the case data model and the records for evidence, entities, timelines, actions, and outcomes.
• Own two-way case synchronization with customers’ ticketing/ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
• Shape AI involvement in cases while preserving explainability, permissions, and human judgment.
• Spend time with SOC analysts and customers to understand workflow friction and decision needs.
• Write clear product requirements and success metrics covering analyst effort and time to decision.
• Partner with UX to design an investigation experience with evidence, context, and actions.
