Job summary

Signifyd in the United States seeks a Senior Product Manager to own authorization optimization. You will define strategy, prioritize high-value opportunities, and drive delivery across capability teams in a hands-on, technical product role.

You will translate strategy into precise requirements, design data interfaces connecting merchants, PSPs, and issuers, and partner with engineering and data science daily to balance performance and risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a product management role with roadmap ownership and end-to-end delivery.
• Hands-on payments product experience spanning issuer authorization behavior, decline recovery and retries, 3DS, PSD2/SCA frameworks.
• Experience writing detailed technical specs and defining APIs or data interfaces in partnership with engineering.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with transaction-level data and defining success metrics.
• Experience working with data science/analytics teams and translating insights into product requirements.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the authorization optimization roadmap end to end: set priorities, sequence delivery, communicate plan and rationale to teams.
• Determine where to build, partner or influence issuers directly based on behavior and regional dynamics.
• Write detailed technical specs and manage backlog with engineering.
• Define and evolve APIs, data models, and integration points for authorization and decline data flows.
• Identify and develop partnerships with PSPs, gateways, acquirers, issuers and data providers.
• Build issuer/BIN intelligence on authorization performance and recovery impact.
• Drive issuer-specific decisioning across 3DS, decline recovery and intelligent retries.
• Collaborate with data science to define risk-aware decisioning requirements.
• Own measurable authorization uplift and recovered revenue with merchant proofs of value.
• Partner with sales and customer success to incorporate merchant feedback into roadmap.
