Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for Air and Drying Solutions. You will collaborate with customers to define strategies, develop proposals, and coordinate with Technology Managers, Application Engineers, Sales Managers, and other Product Managers to meet customer goals.

You will lead a team of product experts, oversee project interfaces to Engineering and PM, and provide feedback to R&D. The role supports work from any Valmet location with extensive travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related science with 10+ years in paper-industry roles.
• Experience working with customers and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong presentation skills in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Know Valmet technology, its strengths and applications for customer needs.
• Manage a team of product experts; set direction and priorities.
• Lead interface to Engineering and Project Management for sold projects.
• Oversee project start-up; ensure goals and guarantees are met; provide feedback to R&D.
